Scientists from Germany have developed a passive RFID (Radio-Frequency Identification) system, by sticking on your windshield, the fee is charged automatically via online account when you breeze in and out of parking lots. A Solar-Powered Electric Charging Station of Solar Car Chevrolet announced to launch a solar-powered electric charging stations project, which is called the Green Zone. Selected dealerships get equipped with solar panels to help charge up Chevrolet Volts. The power supply project utilizes solar energy to generate electricity equivalent to 12 full vehicle charges per day and excess electricity created will help supplement the dealership’s power needs. Toyota Interactive Touch Screen Car Window
The Toyota augmented reality windows maybe will spread to future vehicles. Have you ever thought to pinch screen or multi-point touch on the window? And being interactive to the scenery outside? This is what Toyota engineer developed, who have created a prototype system that could turn the side windows of Toyotas into touchscreen augmented reality devices, allowing passengers to interface with the passing scenery, such as object zoom in, estimate the distance of the car, translation, drawing and writing, which is also the design concept of “Window to the World”.
