EDOM Technology Announces Distribution Agreement for Genesis Products in Taiwan and China
Agreement Offers High Level Technical Support for LCD TV Market with Professional FAE Team

August 16, 2005 Taipei - EDOM Technology (TSE: 3048), a professional IC distributor, today announced its distribution agreement with Genesis, the leading supplier of display image processors, in Taiwan and China. EDOM will be responsible for the non-exclusive distribution of all Genesis products, including LCD monitor and digital video chips. In addition, EDOM will provide on-site technical support with its highly trained team of Field Application Engineers (FAEs) to support the design implementation efforts of Genesis’s flat-panel display customers. With Genesis’ product lines in the portfolio, EDOM Technology will have a more comprehensive range of LCD monitor and flat-panel display TV solutions. The distribution relationship began in July.

The LCD monitor and flat-panel TV markets have experienced rapid growth and Genesis is a leader in both market segments. Genesis’s technology and cost-effective, highly integrated display controller solutions have been implemented by leading PC and consumer electronics manufacturers of LCD monitors, LCD TVs, plasma TVs, Digital CRT TVs, and DLP TVs. Currently, the mainstream product in Taiwan market is the LCD TV, while in China, the digital CRT Proscan TV is the leading mass-production product, and EDOM is well-positioned to penetrate both key market segments with this distribution agreement. EDOM Technology has worked hard and long in both Taiwan and China distribution channels and the company expects to quickly ramp up its sales performance.
