                    Helicomm & EDOM Technology Co., LTD. Announce Exclusive Distribution Agreement
                                 Companies partner to provide ZigBee networking solutions throughout Asia

Carlsbad, California, and Taipai, Taiwan- Helicomm, a leading wireless networking solutions provider, and EDOM Technology Co., Ltd. (EDOM), a leading Asian electronics distributor, today announced that they have entered into an exclusive distribution agreement that allows EDOM to market and sell Helicomm’s embedded wireless networking solutions throughout Asia. Countries included in the agreement initially include China, Taiwan and Singapore.

EDOM will initially be marketing Helicomm’s EZ-Net DevKits and IP-Link embedded modules. Helicomm’s EZ-Net DevKit is an integrated wireless solution that enables manufactures and integrators to accelerate product development and simplify wireless network planning. The EZ-Net DevKit is available in both 2.4GHz and 915MHz versions, and includes IP-Link embedded wireless modules, flexible ZigBee mesh networking software and PC-based management software for module provisioning and wireless sensor network management.

Helicomm’s IP-Link embedded modules are IEEE 802.15.4-compliant and support both 915MHz and 2.4GHz frequency bands, as well as Helicomm’s ZigBee and IPv6 networking software. Helicomm’s IP-Link modules also support an innovative ’RS232-mesh’ transparent serial mode that can seamlessly route serial data up to 38.4Kbps over a mesh or multi-hop wireless network.
