The complete, low-cost professional C8051F930 Development Kit includes everything required to immediately begin system design. Silicon Labs’ Battery Life Estimator, a GUI-based tool that provides details on typical battery discharge characteristics, as well as a user-editable spreadsheet is included as part of the development kit. The tool enables designers to optimize their low-voltage/low-power MCU application. An inexpensive C8051F931 ToolStick Daughter Card and Base Adapter also provide a full development environment. Expanding on the ToolStick931DC, the Capacitive Touch Sense Daughter Card includes 4 Capacitive Touch Sense pads to enable customers to develop applications implementing capacitive touch sense switches.
